Thank you for your interest in interning/volunteering at one of our three field stations in Costa Rica. All internship/volunteer opportunities (as research assistants, station volunteers, botanical garden helpers, etc) are managed on an individual basis by the Station Directors, and are largely dependent upon particular opportunities available at the time of inquiry. Research projects are generally not run by OTS although we will try and match your interests with prospective researchers who may need field assistants. Opportunities (when available) are open to both Costa Rican nationals and international visitors.
